For our next session of Mayence Unplugged, we welcome the J3PO Trio - Julian Pollack and his band - to the Mayence Media studio in Mainz Germany.
As pianist, keyboardist, producer, sound designer, and major influencer, Julian “J3PO” Pollack perfectly embodies the energy and talent of the younger generation on the West Coast, blending the fresh sounds of electronic music, soul, and hip-hop with jazz fusion and beyond.
He has recorded and performed alongside Herbie Hancock, Chris Botti, Terence Blanchard, Marcus Miller, Talib Kweli, David Sanborn, and Michael League of Snarky Puppy.
Together with his Trio, J3PO brings his distinctive blend of analog synthesis, contemporary production and spontaneous live improvisation to the Mayence Unplugged studio.

The studio is well connected. 2 min to the German Autobahn, 15 min to ICE train station Mainz Hbf via frequent bus,
25 min drive to Frankfurt International Airport.

For this exclusive studio recording with J3PO, we are opening our studio in Mainz, Germany to a limited number of guests who would like to experience Julian and his band in a live studio recording session. The performance will be recorded in audio and video for a future concert movie. To finish this amazing experience we will all share the Artist Dinner afterwards. This will give you the chance to have good food, wine and chat with the Julian, his band and the team.
The available space in our beautiful concert hall is limited. Attendance is available exclusively through our guest list.

Once we have reviewed the applications, selected guests will receive a personal confirmation by email with all further details about the session.
Confirmed guests will be asked to pay a contribution of €99 towards the studio facility, production, food & beverages, and organisational costs.
