MAYENCE UNPLUGGED
J3PO TRIO
360° Studio Concert | Live Recording Session | Artist Dinner
with J3PO Julian Pollack and his band
For our next session of Mayence Unplugged, we welcome the J3PO Trio - Julian Pollack and his band - to the Mayence Media studio in Mainz Germany. Riccardo Oliva on the bass and Gianluca Pellerito on the drums.
As pianist, keyboardist, producer, sound designer, and major influencer, Julian “J3PO” Pollack perfectly embodies the energy and talent of the younger generation on the West Coast, blending the fresh sounds of electronic music, soul, and hip-hop with jazz fusion and beyond.
He has recorded and performed alongside Herbie Hancock, Chris Botti, Terence Blanchard, Marcus Miller, Talib Kweli, David Sanborn, and Michael League of Snarky Puppy.
Together with his Trio, J3PO brings his distinctive blend of analog synthesis, contemporary production and spontaneous live improvisation to the Mayence Unplugged studio.
